
Dr. Peter J. Mehl

Dr. Mehl is the Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts. He has served in that capacity for six years; before that he served as the Director of the General Education program and for a year as Interim Dean. Dr. Mehl's research interests are at the intersections of philosophy and religion, with a focus on Kierkegaard and William James. His most recent project is a book length study of Kierkegaard: Thinking through Kierkegaard: Existential Identity in a Pluralistic World, (University of Illinois press). Dr. Mehl also serves as the Director of the Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies degree program.
