Dr. Gallagher received his PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his BS in Bioengineering with a concentration in Biomechanics from the Swanson School of Engineering and his MS in Exercise Physiology. Both degrees completed at the University of Pittsburgh. During his educational endeavors, Dr. Gallagher has interned at the Neuromuscular Research Laboratory under Dr. Scott Lephart, was active in the Center for Exercise and Health-Fitness Research under Drs. Robert Robertson and Fredric Goss, and was active in the Emergency Responder Human Performance Laboratory under Drs. David Hostler and Joe Suyama. In addition to his background in exercise science, Dr. Gallagher is also knowledgeable in research design and statistics as exemplified through his minor in quantitative research methodology and his doctoral collateral in advanced research design practices.
