IT provides some resources designated for use by particular departments. Examples of designated resources would include a department email mailbox or a shared storage area on a network server.
Access to these resources are limited to the individuals specified by the department to which the resource is assigned. We receive frequent requests for access to department resources from multiple members of a department. For security reasons, access to department resources may be requested only by the department head or a representative designated by such. Requests made by other individuals cannot be honored.
To designate a representative, the department head may contact the IT Help Desk.
