NOTE: If you are using the English only version of the Windows client, on a computer attached to the UCA network, you will not be required to perform the following steps.
NOTE: If you are a Faculty/Staff member using the client off campus, i.e. using your home PC or on a trip, you must call the IT Helpdesk to obtain your Address.
After installing the GroupWise client it must be configured before you can use it. You must tell it what Address and Port number to use. If you do not, you will receive an error when trying to connect to the system. To configure your GroupWise client perform the following steps.
- Open GroupWise using the icon on your desktop.
- If you are prompted for a password, click Cancel.
- In the Novell GroupWise Startup window enter the following information.Address: 220.127.116.11 Port: 1677
NOTE: Retirees must use 18.104.22.168 for the Address
- Enter your User ID (network login name) and Password then click OK.
You will need to enter this information only once. GroupWise will remember these settings and use them the next time you start the client.
