- If you are unable to attend the semester that you have been admitted for, please submit the Deferral Request form below.
How much is it to defer?
- If this is your first deferral, there will NOT be a fee required.
- If you have received a previous deferral, you will be required to pay an additional $50.00 deferral fee. This can be paid online at:

How will my new I-20 be sent?
- If you would like to have your new I-20 sent by DHL, you must pay an additional $100 DHL fee. This can be paid online at:

Do I need to send any additional documents to defer?
- If your financial statement is more than six (6) months old, you will be required to submit an updated statement.
- Your deferral request must be received no later than the application deadlines for admission.
July 15 for Fall; November 15 for Spring; May 1 for Summer.
