Letter from Recruitment Chair:
Welcome to the Recruitment page for the Alpha Eta chapter of Sigma Phi Lambda! We are so thrilled that you are interested in going Greek, and invite you to take a look at all that we have to offer. You’re all at different points in your lives, whether you are an incoming freshman or a fifth year senior. You may be feeling incredibly excited, nervous, stressed, or all three at once. Take a breather. We promise it’s totally normal! We can all tell you that we have been there too, and no words can describe how incredibly worth it the Recruitment process is.
Sigma Phi Lambda is a strong, supportive, hilarious, active, and vivacious community here at UCA and is truly a place where a young woman can thrive. On the University of Central Arkansas’ campus, Phi Lamb holds a reputation of academic excellence and outstanding campus involvement. We strive to uphold the purposes on which our sorority was founded: glorifying God and making His name great. Our sisters can be seen taking part in almost every aspect of campus life. Phi Lamb is represented in UCA Ambassadors, Student Orientation Staff, Alpha Lambda Delta, 80 Proof, and the Honors college… just to name a few. We take great pride in going above and beyond, and making the most of our time here at UCA.
As a member of Sigma Phi Lambda, you will leave college with fun memories, a foundation for leadership, and the best friends you could ever imagine. Most importantly, you will join a network of sisters striving to foster their relationship with our Lord. We look forward to seeing you in the fall!
