Each training event will last one hour and will be held in Torreyson West 319.  If you wish to attend a training event, please fill out the registration below.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact the IDC at 450-5240 or idc@uca.edu.

 

Blackboard Learn Online Training Option

The online training is organized into seven lessons that each provide content to read and explore as well as hands-on activities to complete that will assist you in planning and building your course. Those 7 lessons include:

Lesson 2: Course Menu & Customization

Lesson 3: Communication Tools

Lesson 4: Managing Course Files

Lesson 5: Developing & Organizing Content

Lesson 6: Understanding Content Types in Blackboard

Lesson 7: Essential Tasks & Best Practices

To successfully complete the Introductory Blackboard Learn Training (online), you are expected to read the lesson content and complete ALL of the activities for each lesson. The course wraps up with a final activity that provides instructions to begin the process of getting your actual courses set up.

To register for a blackboard training event, simply answer these following questions and click submit at the bottom of this form.

  • This is your faculty/staff ID number. It can be found on your faculty/staff ID card. This number is required in order to enroll you in a course.

  • The CRN is a unique 5 digit number associated with each course you teach. It can be found in myUCA. You must list at least one course to use in the training.
