The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a Clinical Instructor I position in the Department of Occupational Therapy for a nine month position for the 2014-15 academic year. The successful candidate will teach and coordinate fieldwork experiences in a variety of graduate courses. Additionally, candidates will be expected to contribute to the scholarship of the profession and service to the department, university and public.
Department: The entry-level graduate occupational therapy program at the University of Central Arkansas is dedicated to educating practitioners to be competent and skilled in providing occupational therapy services to individuals and populations who are limited by physical or psychosocial situations that compromise independence and wellness. The departmental faculty includes 9 full-time instructors.
Qualification: The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a master’s degree in occupational therapy and all degrees must be awarded by an institution that is accredited by a USDE-recognized regional accrediting body. The candidate must be currently licensed in the state of Arkansas. Preference will be given to persons with evidence of excellence in teaching.
