The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Department of Family & Consumer Sciences invites applications for a tenure track position as an Assistant or Associate Professor dependent upon qualifications. The successful candidate will teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in Family & Consumer Sciences. Additionally, faculty will be expected to contribute to the scholarship of the profession and service to the department, university and public.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for appointment to the tenure track position will hold a doctoral degree in Family & Consumer Sciences or closely aligned discipline. Preferred qualifications: Experience in college teaching and curriculum/program development.
University: Founded in 1907, UCA is an accredited, comprehensive university with approximately 11,500 students and high academic standards.
Community: Located just 30 minutes from Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas. Conway is also home to two private colleges, a public school system ranked among the state’s best, and a strong K-12 parochial school. Real estate in this dynamic “City of Colleges” is moderately priced and taxes are low.
