PROJECT/PROGRAM SPECIALIST-TECHNOLOGY LEARNING CENTER-COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
The University of Central Arkansas invites applications for a Project/Program Specialist - Technology Specialist with primary responsibility for a wide range of activities related to technical support and database administration.
To fulfill this responsibility s/he must manage maintenance, updates, and installation of hardware and software in College computer labs and classrooms; maintain and develop web based surveys for data collection and reporting purposes; administer the College’s database and web hosting server; support e-portfolio system by providing on-demand support; provide technology training to students and College personnel; troubleshoot hardware and software issues; and publish technology newsletters.
Preferred qualifications include experience with the following: Chalk and Wire e-portfolio/assessment system; Windows Server 2008; Microsoft SQL Server 2008; SelectSurveyNET and/or Qualtrics; Novell ZENworks Imaging Engine; WordPress and Luminis Content Management Systems; HTML/CSS; and advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Publisher. Master’s degree (required) plus five years of experience (preferred).
