MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma; two or more years office experience; general office skills; basic computer literacy, ability to handle MS Word, MS Excel, e-mail, web browsing.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Experience managing financial accounts; experience working with Banner requisitioning system; excellent "people skills."
THE POSITION: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records in the Department, preparing requisitions, travel documents, purchase orders, maintaining inventory lists, managing building schedule, coordinate building maintenance. The ability to multi-task and relate to the public is vital to success.
Candidates interested in pursuing graduate degrees or additional education will qualify for UCA tuition reimbursement at the rate of 50% reduction for graduate offerings and 80% reduction for undergraduate offerings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of bookkeeping, billing, or related experience. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
