Aid To Dependents Of Deceased Enforcement Officers

The Office of Human Resources is providing this information as a service to the campus community.  This is a service that is continually under development.  We will make every effort to keep this site current and to correct errors brought to our attention.

Arkansas law A.C.A. 6-82-501 to 506 provides scholarships to spouses/children of deceased/ permanently disabled public service employees.  This is the link to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education website for more information:  http://www.arkansashighered.com/financialaid/lawenforcement.html

Law Enforcement Officers' Dependents Scholarship Program - waiver of tuition, fees, and room at any public college, university, or technical institute in Arkansas for dependents and spouses of Arkansas law enforcement officers, some Highway and Transportation Department employees, and other public employees, who were killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.
