Housing Graduate Assistantships

The Department of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Central Arkansas welcomes applications for our Graduate Assistantship Positions!

Residence Coordinator (multiple openings):

Residence Coordinators (RCs) will oversee the daily operation of a residential facility. RCs will report directly to an Associate Director and serve as an active and visible residence life staff member. RCs engage in activities promoting student development, community development, and leadership development; assist in the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of resident assistants and student leaders; participate in facility management, marketing, student conduct, and assessment; participate in a comprehensive training and in-service program; contribute to a positive, team-oriented, energetic, and flexible work atmosphere. The RC understands and supports the goals, values, purpose, and mission of the department. RCs also serve as student conduct hearing officers, along with serving in an on-call departmental duty rotation.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, student leadership experience, and acceptance to the UCA College Student Personnel Services and Administration graduate program by July of program year.

Remuneration
Full tuition waiver; $1000 monthly stipend; furnished housing, parking, partial meal plan, and professional development opportunities available.

Note: Graduate Assistantships are 10-month positions with summer potential employment available

Don’t forget that in order to be eligible for a graduate assistantship with our department, you must be fully accepted into the College Student Personnel Services & Administration (CSPA) Master’s Program. Graduate Assistantships cover all tuition and fees, except international student insurance.
