Sherita is a native of Aberdeen, Mississippi and a graduate of Mississippi University for Women with a Bachelors of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and a minor in General Business.  During her undergraduate experience, she held many positions including: Director of Student Programming Board, Co-director of Up ‘Til Dawn (a St. Jude affiliated organization), a member of the Hearin Leadership Program Council, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Young Black Leadership Association.

Through her leadership experiences in Student Activities, she discovered her passion for Higher Education and Student Affairs. Sherita is excited about joining the UCA family and being a part of Housing and Residence Life as the Program Coordinator for Recognition and Development. She hopes that through her position, as well as through her experiences in the CSPA graduate program that she can become better equipped to be a resource to the students, and to help them grow as awesome leaders!
