Linnsey McFerguson, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from UCA in Communications, with an emphasis in Public Relations. During her journey at UCA, Linnsey worked as a servant-leader in the following organizations: Student Government Association, Minority Mentorship, Students for the Propagation of Black Culture, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Public Relations Student Society of America and Griot Society. Linnsey was named “Woman of Integrity” and also held titles for both the “Miss Black and Gold” and “Miss Essence” scholarship pageants. She also served as a Resident Assistant for two years. After graduating from UCA, she was an instructor for a “Workplace Readiness” course specifically designed for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program, which is a division of the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.
Linnsey is currently a graduate student in the College Student Personnel Services and Administration program. While completing her degree, she will serve as the Residence Coordinator for “The Oaks” which is comprised of Torreyson, Oak Tree, Erbach, and Baldridge apartments.
Her ultimate goal is to encourage the students of UCA to become the best version of themselves and unlock their creativity. Because when students are creative, they become innovative—and innovators change the world.
