Kari is the Judicial Coordinator for the office of Housing and Residence Life at UCA. A native from Southeastern Wisconsin; Kari earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication with a minor of Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in May 2011. Kari chose to attend UCA to seek a  Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel Services and Administration because it is a program tailored to her professional goals and provides an ample amount of opportunities that will allow her to grow both inside the classroom and in the workplace; all while providing an education about Student Affairs.

While attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Kari had a multitude of opportunities that has contributed to Kari’s decision to seek a career in Student Affairs. Some of those opportunities within Housing and Residence Life included:
Resident Assistant
Summer Assistant to Camps and Conferences
Hall Director Assistant
Community Development Intern
Residence Life Central Office Assistant

Opportunities within other various departments of Student Affairs included:
Student Programming Board (SEAL- Student Entertainment Awareness League)
National Association for Campus Activities (NACA)
Homecoming  Steering Committee (HSC)
Recreation Sport & Facilities Advisory Council
Special Events Crew

As Kari has experienced first-hand the impact professionals in the field of Student Affairs have had on her; she to hopes to give back to other students, so they can develop into their own leader and leave behind their own legacy at UCA. It is with this idea that Kari’s interest in conduct has developed.  The ability to help change a student’s behavior into a positive path while not only benefits the student as an individual, but in their academic success as well.
