Cristina Araujo is from Southern California and received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and certificate in Social Services at California State University, San Bernardino. While at Cal State San Bernardino, Cristina was involved with the Hispanic Scholar Chapter (HSC) and the Office of Housing and Residential Life. She held leadership roles within HSC, and worked as a Student Assistant and RA within Housing. She also worked as a Student Assistant at the Vice President’s Office for Student Affairs.
Through Cristina’s involvement at her institution, she developed a passion for working with students and was inspired to pursue a career within Student Affairs. While serving as the Residence Coordinator for Baridon Hall and the Sophomore Year Experience, she will be working on obtaining her Master’s degree within the College Student Personnel Services and Administration program at UCA. Cristina is very excited to be a part of the UCA family and aims to contribute in the development of student leaders within the UCA community.
