UCA Staff & Dependent Scholarships

Jeremy Duplessis UCA Police Department Student Assistance Scholarship
Applicants shall either be a full-time or part-time employee of the UCA Police Department or be a legal dependent of a full-time employee of the UCA Police Department.  Requires a high school or college GPA of 2.25 or above.  Consideration shall be given to financial need.  For more information, contact (501) 450-3111.

Lilly Harmon Staff Senate Scholarship
One Lilly Harmon Staff Senate Scholarship will be awarded by the UCA Staff Senate to assist a full-time staff employee in pursuing a degree at UCA.  The Lilly Harmon Staff Senate Scholarship was established in memory of long-time UCA employee, Lilly Harmon.  Preference will be given to full-time staff pursuing a degree in technology, math, computer science or MIS.  Visit uca.edu/staffsenate/scholarships/ to apply.

Staff Senate Employee Scholarship
The Staff Senate Employee Scholarship was established by the UCA Staff Senate to assist full-time UCA staff employees pursuing a degree at UCA.  A GPA of 2.5 or above is required for current students.  Visit uca.edu/staffsenate/scholarships/ to apply.

Staff Senate Scholarship for Dependents of UCA Staff
This scholarship is awarded for dependents of full-time UCA staff employees who meet the eligibility criteria for the staff fee waiver as outlined in the staff handbook and are pursuing a degree at UCA.  Dependent must be a full-time student in good academic standing and with 30 hours or more and a GPA of 2.5 or above.  Visit uca.edu/staffsenate/scholarships/ to apply.

Joe A. and Velma Stell Educational Scholarship
First preference given to full-time students who work a minimum of 5 hours per week in the Physical Plant on the UCA campus.  Requires a high school GPA of 2.25 or above.  Second preference given to part-time students (minimum 6 credit hours) who work 5 hours anywhere on the UCA campus.  Consideration shall be given to financial need.  For more information, contact (501) 450-3650.

Other Special Interest Scholarships

William M. Clark Memorial Scholarship
For full-time entering freshmen with strong preference given to graduating seniors of St. Joseph High School in Conway.  Selection based on student’s academic achievements, activities and GPA of 2.5 or above.  For more information, contact the St. Joseph High School counselor, (501) 329-5741.

Phi Sigma Epsilon and Phi Sigma Kappa Alumni Scholarship
For students who are members or associates in good standing of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity.  Selection based on academic performance, community service and financial need with a GPA of 2.5 or above.  Preference given to undergraduates. Toad Suck Daze Scholarship
For full-time students who graduated from a Faulkner County (Arkansas) high school, with preference given to entering freshmen.  Selection based on academic performance, activity in providing volunteer community service with non-profit organizations, and financial need.  For more information, contact the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce at (501) 327-7788 or your high school counselor.
