Professor Fayman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Knox College in 1999 and a PhD in Finance from University of Southern Illinois in 2006. His research is focused primarily on risk taking and lending practices of depository institutions and using bank data to predict macroeconomic variables. His research articles appeared in Financial Management, Review of Financial Economics and Journal of Business Finance & Accounting.
