The purpose of Summer Enrichment is to provide students with enrichment in basic skill areas in which they are experiencing challenges. The program is designed to meet an individual child’s instructional needs in an enjoyable and motivating environment. Summer Enrichment serves students (K through 8) with mild disabilities currently receiving special education services.
There are two formats for the program delivery:

For children entering Kindergarten through Third Grade, skills will be enhanced / reinforced within a thematic unit delivery, as well as one-to-one skill instruction. (3 hour session)

For children entering Grades Four through Eight, basic skills will be enhanced / reinforced in the form of one-to-one instruction. (1 ½ hour session)

| Time: | Grades K - 3 (9:00 to 12:00) Grades 4 – 8 (9:00 to 10:30 or 10:30 to 12:00) |
| Tuition Cost: | Grades K – 3 $80 Non-refundable Grades 4 – 8 $60 Non-refundable |
Registration Procedures:
- TheParent Application(one page) should be completed and returned to the Department of Early Childhood and Special Education, UCA.
- The School Report (two pages) should be completed by the student’s special education teacher and returned to the Department of Early Childhood and Special Education, UCA.
- Upon receipt of the Parent Application, School Report and tuition fee, a confirmation memo will be mailed to you.
