Maria Negrete Padron serves as Associate Director of the Office of Diversity and Community. In her role, she acts as an advocate for underrepresented students to ensure that they are exposed to networking opportunities and to enhance their communication and leadership skills. Also, she serves as the Latinx Outreach Coordinator within the UCA and Central Arkansas community. Additionally, Maria provides support as advisor to the Latino Student Association and the UCA Colony of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Incorporada.
Maria graduated with a Bachelor’s in Modern Languages and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas. Maria works closely with the ENGAGE Ambassadors with Career Services and as the Immigrant Experience Subcommittee Chair.
