Have you ever wanted to tell a UCA teacher how much you appreciate his or her learning assistance? Unfortunately, teachers rarely receive such information because students are unsure how to provide it.
Now the Center for Teaching Excellence offers “Thank-A-Teacher” as an opportunity for UCA students to give valuable encouragement by expressing their appreciation to UCA faculty. Students will submit the online form (anonymously or not). Then at the beginning of the following semester, the IDC will send each student’s letter of thanks to the faculty member.
This service is not intended to replace student evaluations but to supplement the process by encouraging students to show individual appreciation to faculty. Students’ evaluation of courses will occur during the last few weeks of each semester through the MyUCA portal under the “Evals” tab.
