Reesa M. Ramsahai, LPE-I, obtained her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and later her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas. She joined the staff in 2000 and coordinates outreach for the center. Her initial counseling position was with adolescent females whom she credits for teaching her almost everything she knows about being a counselor. Reesa has a wide variety of interests so her approach is integrative and she draws from psychoanalysis, humanist, and positive psychology approaches. Focusing on the strengths of each client she has an interest in working with the LGBTQ community, sexual assault survivors, individuals with low self-esteem, anxiety challenges, and as well as identity development from a multi-cultural perspective.
