Chinese Bridge Summer Camp for High School Students

 2017 July 15th-30th

Imperial Palace

The Chinese Bridge High School Camp

is a sponsored program by Confucius Institute (Beijing Headquarters “Hanban”) in cooperation with Confucius Institute at UCA. The program is designed to give American high school students an experience of culture and language immersion during the summer. Since being launched in 2007, over 500 American high school students have been invited to participate in the summer camp in China.  This experience promotes high school students’ understanding of Chinese language and culture.  The participants improve their Chinese proficiency while making friends in this opportunity of a lifetime. Students typical spend one week in language immersion and another visiting cultural and educational sites with our partners in Shanghai, Tianjin or Beijing.
