The School of Communication offers degree programs in Communication, General Writing, Journalism, Public Relations, and Professional Writing. More information about these programs can be found listed in the sub directory of Degree Programs.
UCA students can earn a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in the disciplines of Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations. UCA students can earn a Bachelor of Arts in the disciplines of General Writing and Professional Writing.
These degrees require completion of 120 hours including 1) the general education component, 2) specific degree requirements, and 3) a major, and 4) a minor as arranged by the student's minor advisor.
The School of Communication offers minors in Communication, General Writing, Journalism, Public Relations, and Professional Writing. UCA students can earn a minor in these areas by completing 21 hours of required credits for Communication or Public Relations, 26 hours for Journalism, or 24 hours for General Writing or Professional Writing.
