Josh is the Assistant Director for the Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED). He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas’ Master of Arts in English program. His areas of expertise include projects coordination, data management, research and logistics. He also works with the CCED team to provide support for applied projects.
Josh spent the last two years working as an instructor and professional tutor of literature and writing at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. Josh’s current work allows him to assist rural community leaders in their efforts to improve Arkansas communities. Additionally, Josh represents over 200 constituents through his elected position on the University of Central Arkansas Staff Senate.
He views education as being central to successful community and economic development, and as such, wants to complete his PCED certification. He looks forward to engaging members of Arkansas’ communities through the educational opportunities offered by CCED and the Community Development Institute.
Outside of his professional life, Josh is an active volunteer for the Faulkner County Urban Farming Project. Josh also enjoys playing tennis, hiking, painting, and spending time with his family and friends.
