Kuder Journey
What is Kuder Journey and how can it help me?
Kuder is free, self-guided computer-based career exploration program. It can be a valuable tool in helping one determine what type of career would be right for him/her and what career that person would enjoy. Kuder will produce a list of occupations and careers that can be printed out and discussed with any of the counselors in Career Services.
How long does Kuder take?
Kuder has three sections and takes less than a half hour to complete.
1) Career Interests Assessment (9 min.): This section connects your top interests with career clusters.
2) Skills Confidence Assessment-A (7 min.): This section explores what you believe you are good at doing.
3) Work Values Assessment (4 min.): This section explores what is most important to you.
Once you have completed this career self-assessment analysis, you can print and use this data to help you determine a major and career track. If you have more questions or would like to talk to a counselor about your results, simply ask our front desk to make an appointment with one of our counselors.
