Are you looking for a work-study position? Are you seeking a part-time job or internship while going to school? Are you looking for a full-time job or internship for the summer? Or are you ready to start looking for a job for after graduation? The Career Services Department has staff ready to assist you.

Bears4Hire: 

The Bears4Hire is an on-line tool that keeps you connected with the Career Services Center and the employers that have contacted our offices with positions that need to be filled. Through Handshake you can search for a variety of different positions, ranging from full-time employment to internship opportunities. On-Campus Employment:

As of November 17th, 2020 the entire hiring and onboarding process for all employees hired at UCA will be online.  This includes full-time, part-time, hourly, graduate assistants and student workers 

Work-study job openings are listed here. Follow the instructions to apply. You can also apply directly with an office or department on campus if you are seeking employment with an office affiliated with your academic major.

  • Institutional Work Study (1501) – There are no financial aid eligibility requirements
  • Federal Work Study (1502) – To be eligible, you must have been awarded and accepted Federal Work Study Funds. (Check with the Financial Aid office to make sure you have completed all required paperwork.)
  • Community Federal Work Study (1505) – If you are eligible for 1502, you are also eligible for 1505.

University contract services employment are jobs provided by vendors who contract with the University, including ARAMARK Dining Services and UCA Bookstore.


Part-time jobs & Full-time jobs:

Internships:

To see internships you must create a Handshake account. Follow the instructions to apply. Visit Bears4Hire powered by Handshake to create an account. You may also be eligible for internships within your major that might pay $11 to $25 an hour, so contact the Cooperative Education Program at 450-3250 to be added to the email list.
