  • Maintains effective communication with other Departments involved in metering and utilization of AECC's generation and load information. Communicates problems encountered with metering equipment, applications, networks, and communications systems to responsible Departments.
  • Consults with software vendor(s) in the ongoing development and maintenance of AECC's Energy Accounting system. Works with internal application developers to ensure that the energy accounting, wholesale power billing and market settlement processes perform as required.
  • Oversees the storage and maintenance of historical records and statistics relating to AECC's generation and load. Ensures that record retention policies are followed and documented.
  • Establishes processes and procedures to monitor the accuracy of all metering-related systems. Analyzes and compares information from all available sources to identify possible issues affecting the accuracy and quality of AECC's load information.
  • Coordinates the addition and deletion of delivery points to Energy Accounting, metering and SCADA systems as needed.
  • Maintains effective relationships with the Member Cooperatives, with special attention to answering their questions related to wholesale power billing. Ensures that their inquiries and questions regarding load information are met in a timely manner.
  • Participates in the standardization of data management procedures, such as report development and documentation of Departmental processes. Assists internal and external customers with meter data warehouse queries and reports to ensure that the proper data set is used for the intended purpose.
  • Supervises multiple direct reports. Trains staff in the performance of their duties and assists in their personal development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field with significant coursework in mathematics, plus 4-6 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
