Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED) – Internship

Job Location:  UCA (Located in the Division of Outreach and Community Engagement)
Job Title: Fall Internship (Begins September 1 and concludes December 8, 2017)
Pay: TBD


  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to operate appropriately in a professional work environment
  • Ability to complete work by prescribed deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Very knowledgeable of Microsoft Office
  • A background in Public Administration, Political Science, Geography, Graphic Design, Communications, or Business is preferred, but not required.
  • A daytime work schedule of 15 hours per week is expected


  • Responsibilities may include research assistance, marketing assistance, database management, and clerical support.
  • Professional development and networking opportunities will be made available to the intern
  • The CCED intern will work on various community and economic development projects, as well as the annual Community Development Institute.
