Paula was born in Malvern Arkansas and graduated from Malvern High School and then attended Atlantic Airline School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1970. She and her husband Ronnie, an alumni at UCA, moved to Conway in 1970. Since moving to Conway she has held various types of secretarial positions including, working for a mayor, general manager, vice president and president of UCA. She belongs to several organizations including Conway Business and Professional Women’s Organization where she served as president. She is a member of the Order of Easter Star where she still holds dual memberships and is a Past Matron. Paula received the Woman of the Year Award for her work in the community and Conway BPW.
Paula began her career with UCA in 1991 when she began work in the Provost Office later transferring to the President’s Office. She has served on Staff Senate twice since being at UCA and has chaired various committees including serving as Staff Senate Secretary. In the summer of 2002 she became the administrative assistant at the HPER Center and absolutely loves the interaction with the students.
