Jack Fulmer

Jack is a Conway High School graduate, who attended UCA, receiving  a BSE in 1970, and an MSE in 1973, both in Physical Education.  He is starting his second tenure a the University, after coaching baseball from 1986-1995, and working in intramurals and recreation from 1996-2004.

Jack signed a professional baseball contract in 1967 with the San Francisco Giants, after his senior year at UCA.  He retired from baseball in 1971 to finish his college education.  In 1974, Jack started his college coaching career at UALR where he served as the head baseball coach and physical education instructor for 11 years (1974-1985).  He returned to UCA in 1986, where he spent the next 19 years coaching and working in intramurals and recreation.

In his current position, his main responsibility will be upkeep and care of the Farris Fields and the recently opened recreation field, that serve as the home to our student recreation programs.

Jack enjoys working with young people, and is looking forward to his second tenure at UCA.
