Representative Stephen Magie visited the UCA campus for a legislative update on Friday, March 15.
Before a crowd of about 20 faculty and staff, Magie reviewed some of the discussion from the Arkansas General Assembly including agriculture and health-related legislation.
Magie is a first time legislator representing District 72 that includes parts of Conway and Faulkner County. Magie cosponsored bill a “Congratulating the University of Central Arkansas Bears Football Team for an outstanding 2012 season and for continuing excellence in academics” and a another bill “Congratulating the University of Central Arkansas Sugar Bears Volleyball team for an outstanding 2012 season.”
