Katherine Toler

Katherine Toler, 2015 BFA Painting Emphasis, has been accepted as one of five recipients of the Penland Core Fellowship, from the Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina. Toler will receive a two-year fellowship that includes opportunities to exhibit at Penland participate in workshops, and room and board.

Melissa Foster

Melissa Foster, 2016 B.A. Fine Art Emphasis, has work accepted for the Arkansas Arts Councils annual 2018 Small Works on Paper Touring Exhibition. The exhibition will travel to ten different venues throughout the state.

Jason McCann

Jason McCann, B.A. Art Education Emphasis alum, is exhibiting “The American Student,” his recent body of work, in a solo show at Boswell Mourot Fine Art in Little Rock.

Kerrie Mahoney

Kerrie Mahoney, BA, 2015, Fine Arts Emphasis, received Honorable Mention and will be included in Artist Portfolio Magazine’s 5th Anniversary on-line issue.

James Scott

James Scott, BA, 2015, Art Education Emphasis, was hired to teach 5th and 6th grade art at Crossett Middle School in Crossett, Arkansas.

Hunter Brown

Hunter Brown, BA, 2015, Fine Arts Emphasis, started his own company, Innovative Sculpture Design, LLC, and is currently completing commissions to placed in buildings in Alabama, Georgia, and Chicago.

 

Rachel Hamilton

Rachel Hamilton, BFA, 2011, Graphic Design, starts her position as Marketing Coordinator for HOK in Tampa, Florida.

Jen Hughes (Colbert)

Jen Hughes (Colbert), BFA, 2003, Graphic Design Emphasis, has been working as Archives and Exhibit Specialist at the State Capitol in the office of the Secretary of State.  Jen also recently became a board member of the Arkansas Museum Association.

Mark Keifer

Mark Keifer’s (2015 BA Fine Art Emphasis) Lampsquatch, one of the works from his senior exhibit, was accepted in the Monmouth Museum’s 37th Annual Juried Exhibition.  The Monmouth Museum is in Lincroft, New Jersey.

Brittany Maladone

Brittany Madalone (2013 BFA Printmaking Emphasis and BA Art Ed Emphasis) is teaching art at Maumelle Middle School.
