This collection contains materials relating to the Catholic Diocese of Little Rock. Included in these materials are religious education correspondence and newsletter, parish directories and memorabilia such as memorial cards, etc.
The Diocese of Little Rock was established in 1843. At the time of its creation the Diocese encompassed both the state of Arkansas and Indian Territory, and Andrew Byrne was installed as the first Bishop. The current Bishop is Andrew J. McDonald (1991).
