Rose Publishing Company was founded in 1973 by Walter Nunn for the purpose of publishing a textbook on state and local government for college. On the basis of the favorable response to the book and subsequent titles, Rose became a full-time operation in 1974. The company specializes in non-fiction books about Arkansas and Arkansas people.
The records consist of financial and business records, correspondence with authors and prospective authors, copy-rights and copyright information, royalty statements, some manuscripts, and ideas for future publications.
