About Jessica
Hello! My name is Jessica Remetic and I am from central Arkansas. I started working at UCA in 2009 and have loved it so much I can’t imagine spending my days anywhere else. My job as Academic Advisor for the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is the role I have loved most. Watching a student grow within their own educational journey and career goals is something I am proud to play a small part.
Before UCA, I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Communication at UALR and then by 2012, I had finished my Masters in Business Administration at UCA. The real highlight of my life are my two boys, ages 6 and 4, and a 1 year old little girl who has the whole household wrapped around her finger. For fun, my husband and I love to load up our RV and take our kids on weekend adventures around Arkansas. Our favorite camping spot from 2019 was found during an impromptu journey around northern Arkansas, the Bull Shoals White River campground. The beauty found there is like no other.
