Why I Do What I Do

I enjoy helping students to develop intellectually, emotionally, academically and socially. Students need to be encouraged to take ownership of their academic plan to achieve college success. My role is to guide and support each student as they meet their high aspirations and navigate through the many challenges of college life.

Since I have gone back to school myself, I certainly have a new understanding of the challenge’s students face. I empathize with each one and can better identify with some of their needs. The students at UCA teach me life lessons every day and I don’t want to ever stop learning from them.

I look forward to my days at UCA because I Love what I do. “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” – Mark Twain.
