At The University of Central Arkansas, I’m a Political Science major and a member of the Honors College. UCA’s Honors College has really accentuated my academic career by being one of only 10 in the U.S. with its own faculty. The opportunities I’ve had to get involved through UCA’s vibrant student organization scene have helped me develop leadership skills.
I’m a member of a sorority on campus and president of the Student Government Association (SGA). Both of these groups have helped me to serve UCA’s community and Conway. Through SGA, I even helped lead the building of a new amphitheater on campus. Because of the opportunities afforded me at UCA, I feel like I’ve made a difference.
From being a student ambassador through the Honors College, to welcoming new students as a member of Student Orientation Staff (SOS), to being a teaching assistant in anthropology – UCA puts me front and center in my community and for whatever the future holds.
