Regional Math Contest for Central Region - University of Central Arkansas

The Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ACTM) is a professional association that supports and encourages good mathematics teaching. ACTM conducts annual regional and state mathematics contests that provide an opportunity for high school students to compete academically. Statewide there were 13 sites of which the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) was one. Overall, over 2000 students participated in one regional contest. The students compete in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Tri/Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics. The 2015 top three winners in each subject area at UCA are as follows:

On April 25, 2015, the above students, additional winers from other regional sites, and others, dependent upon their scores, will be invited to compete at the state level, which will be at the University of Central Arkansas in the Math Tech Building.
