International Engagement

The Division of International Engagement integrates all university international activity and initiatives. To prepare students, faculty, staff, and community for the global experience of the 21st century, International Engagement creates a supportive, diverse, and collaborative community on campus and in the greater area through cultural and educational programming. International Engagement fosters and environment that empowers students to become compassionate leaders, global citizens, and life long scholars.

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) guides international students through all steps of the admission process. ISSS provides orientations, cultural events, and ongoing support to ensure international students have the best possible learning and living experience.

The Intensive English Program (IEP) has a five-level program with courses in a variety of skills to prepare students for academic success. Upon successful completion of upper level IEP classes, students begin credit-bearing courses towards their degree.

The Office of Study Abroad offers affordable academic coursework, internships and experiential learning abroad. With over 20 partner universities, students can earn UCA credit in locations around the world. Students may enroll in faculty led summer study abroad programs in countries such as India, France, Italy, Costa Rica and New Zealand.

The UCA Confucius Institute (UCACI) is one of the 350 Confucius Institutes around the world and was the 24th Confucius Institute established in United States. UCACI hosts a wide array of cultural and education programs on campus.
